Canada’s First Photo Printing Service Now Available in Sault

Quality digital photo printing in Sault Ste. Marie just got easier with Canada’s first digital printing technology now available at Camera Craft.

The 716 Queen St. East location has added Fujifilm’s GetPix DASH, a simple smartphone printing service, to its wide range of offerings that include developing and printing, passport photos, photography seminars, l gallery space and custom photo restoration.

GetPix DASH is an easy-to-navigate printing system that allows customers to print photos seamlessly without having to download and install a dedicated app on the user’s phone or tablet.

“It’s the first in Canada,” says Camera Craft staff. “This technology lets you print high-quality photos wirelessly from your smart device or tablet in minutes.

Using a simple one-touch selection tool, anyone can upload images from their mobile device’s photo gallery to Fujifilm’s secure website, Photos can then be retrieved and printed at Camera Craft by entering a site-generated access code at their printer-compatible kiosk.

Passcodes can be created on a computer at home or on the go via a connected mobile device. Once generated, the code can be printed, emailed or texted to devices and entered at the GetPix kiosk within ten days.

“It’s a convenient way for our customers to quickly and easily print photos for work, special occasions, to share with friends or add to their family photo albums,” the staff explains. “And it’s just another way for us to show that after more than six decades in business, we continue to be committed to keeping up with trends in photography, advancing technology and finding the best ways to meet to the needs of our customers.”

In just three simple steps, customers can print up to ten lab-quality 4×6 prints at once:

3. Enter the unique access code on the terminal’s touch screen.

Photos will be printed on site in minutes at a cost of $1.00 plus HST each.
