Parabo Press: a new photo printing app by Photojojo for unique prints in small batches

Since its launch in April 2006, Photojojo has grown from a fun photography newsletter to a massive online store full of photo gifts and gear. Today, the company has just launched a major new venture: Parabo Press. It’s a photo printing app for iOS that lets you turn your digital photos into all kinds of physical products.

The app offers “a truly unique range of products,” Photojojo tells PetaPixel. “We grew up flipping through photo albums, but now we have all our photos hidden away on our phones,” says Brand Manager Emily Cosnotti. “We want a more permanent way to discover our photos and we want them to stand out too. And that’s why we created Parabo.

The app starts out using processes that are optimized for mobile phone photos – high resolution shots aren’t necessary. You can turn these snaps into human-sized black and white prints for $25, silkscreen-style risographs for $30, fine art book-quality photo books for $59, 25 geometric prints for $26, 25 prints squares for $24, and more.

Parabo also sells clever display accessories for hanging prints on your walls, from wooden display rails, to skeleton clips, mylar tape, pon pins.

You can download the Parabo Press app for free from the iTunes App Store today. The company says the Android version of the app will be available soon. You can also check out the Parabo website to check out all they have to offer.
