Hello Factory family. Welcome back to Factory Reproductions’ YouTube channel.

Today we’re going to be talking about the FR 203. So this 203, This is actually a GMC Denali wheel, but this will look great on all the Cadillac Escalades, the Silverado’s, Tahoe, Suburban’s, Avalanches and the Sierra.

These are all 6×5.5 with a 28mm offset and come in several different colors and sizes. So this new 203 comes in 22’s and 24 inch. 22×9 with a 28 mm offset, 24×10 with a 31mm offset. They all come in Chrome, Gloss Black and Gray Machine Face.

These all fit on the newer body style vehicles. Fitment is actually from 2007 all the way up to current. The older body styles go from 2007 to 2018 on some models and start in 2021 on other models.

Now with the 22″, you want to run the 285/45/22’s on those older body styles I mentioned, up to 2018-2020. Then you want to run a 295/35/24 on 24″ for the older bodies. The newer body style has a little bit taller tire, can go you know about 33″ tall. New body style from 2018 to current on most vehicles, you’re looking at a 275/50/22 and you can actually get a 305/35/24 on the 24″. Also, 285/40/24, there’s not a lot of sizes out there, or a lot of manufacturers out there for those sizes, but that’s available out there on the market, also.

I did rattle off a lot of information, so if you guys have any questions, feel free to reach me at jason@factoryreproductions.com – reproductions is plural, has the “s” at the end. Or, you can message anybody here at Factory Reproductions orders at Factory Reproductions, no problem.

Once again, the phone number will be at the bottom. They’ll snap it in or something like that, put it at the bottom of this video and you can call in at any time, anybody will be able to help you with the questions that you have. Thank you very much for watching our video. This is our new 203. Remember.. Factory Reproductions, making you fall in love with your ride all over again.

Hello Factory Family. Jason here with Factory Reproductions coming back to you with a new segment all about our FR 59 Snowflake wheels.

These FR 59’s are one of the most popular GM, Chevy, GMC truck wheels out there on the market. These come in several different sizes. They come in 20×9, 22×9, 24×10 and 26×10 and we do have several different finishes in those. We have the Chrome, Gloss Black, Black Machine Face as you can see here and we have a Silver Machine Face. Probably, the Chrome and Silver Machine Face are the most popular, but you can’t count out Black or Black Machine Face ever.

Now, all these wheels will fit on your Chevy’s, Tahoe’s, Silverado’s, Suburban’s, Avalanche’s. Then they also fit on the Sierra’s, Yukon’s, Denali’s and they also fit on the Escalades, you know the EXT’s/ESV’s, all the Escalades out there will fit.

Newer style, with the larger caliper, which in the Chevy truck stuff started in 2019. The Tahoe’s, Yukons and Escalades and stuff started in 2021. They clear all the calipers, you know from 2007, let’s go with 2007 on up. There’s some of the older models that it will fit from 99 on up, gotta play with the tire size make sure that you know that if lowered or lifted or whatever that it will still fit.

Now standard tire sizes, let’s start with 20″. 20″ most standard tire size is going to be 275/55/20. That will fit on your stock. Some lowered, slightly lowered 2/4 drop, something like that. Those will still fit. So if you want to go larger, you can actually go larger 33’s/35’s if you lift your truck. But that has to be done with a lifted truck.

22’s. 22’s start 285/45/22’s. Same thing, if its lowered 2/4 it will be the same fitment, if you drop it any further than that you’ll want to play with the tire size you may want to go to a 285/40/22, even 285/35/22, something of that nature. 24’s.

24’s have a couple different size tires. 24’s stock on that will usually run 295/35/24, a lot of people run the 305/35/24, its a little bit taller tire, a little bit more cushiony on the sidewall and everything cause you’re going 24″. Or you can go with the 285/40/24, there’s not a lot out there on the market, but there are some available. There are also 33 and 35 inch tall tires in 24, there’s even some 37s from what I heard. We don’t personally do the 37s on that stuff but they’re out there and available.

26″, 295/30/26 is the best fitment out there. There is some all-terrain tires too, out there. I know Atturo has a 35″ tall all-terrain tire for these and there’s other stuff on the market that a lot of people are doing so don’t hesitate to give us a call and we can help you out on that one with the tire sizes as well.

That wraps this session up for us. You can reach me at jason@factoryreproductions.com – also, call the number below. Any of the salesmen here can help you out.

ALSO, this week is SEMA. You can go check us out at booth #46027 all week through Friday 11/3. Jason here, remember.. Factory Reproductions making you fall in love with your ride all over again.

Join our fitment specialist Jason as he discusses our FR 66F Dodge Anniversary Flow Form Replica Wheels. If fitment, size, applications and finishes available were questions on your list, we got you covered. In this video we discuss fitments for Dodge Challengers, Chargers, 300C’s and older Dodge Magnums, as well as going over vehicle specific tire fitments.

Video Transcript

Disclaimer: These transcripts are auto generated therefore we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.  For best results, the transcript should be used in conjunction with the video.

Hello Factory family, Jason here with Factory Reproductions coming back to you again on the new wheel segment.

So the style FR66 Hellcat Widebody 50th Anniversary wheel comes in three different sizes. They’re coming 20×9.5, 20×10.5 and 20×11’s, for the wide bodies and standard body vehicles.

Flow Form

Now, these bad boys are flow forged. Flow forged, flow formed, there’s several different words out there for it, you know everybody has their own, we call it flow formed. We actually take the wheel, it’s cast and they’re able to flow the barrels out to get wider widths on those 9.5, 10.5 and 11’s. Matter of fact, you can actually check out a video or segment on our website home page “flow form” there’s its own segment up there. Take a look at that and it shows exactly how these are done. https://factoryreproductions.com/flow-form/

Finishes

We have four different finishes in the standard bodies 20×9.5 and 20×10.5. There’s gloss black, satin black and bronze. On the 20×11 for the wide body, we have chrome. A chrome version those guys you know like that Chrome pop real good on the cars for several on our website.

Take a look at all the images on there, but the wide body comes in gloss black along with satin black, bronze and chrome. So, once again take a look at our website, you can see all the different colors. There are also pictures of vehicles with these wheels on there at the bottom of the actual page of this particular wheel.

Fitment

So our FR66 will fit on the standard body vehicles. You can go 20×9.5 all the way around.  20×9.5 weighs 23 pounds. That’s really light, so if you’re upgrading from your 18 inch wheels and tires, putting a little bit a wider tire on there, it’s not going to cause a big problem with the weight distribution. Then again, we also do staggered sizes for the standard bodies. You do the 9.5 in the front, 10.5 in the rear. 10.5 is about 24 pounds, so you’re putting wider tires in the rear, getting more traction, lighter weight. It works out in the long run to get the traction that you need on those vehicles.

We also do this for the wide body wheels. 20×11’s. Nice, fat, wide body; put those on wide bodies all day long – wide body kits, also. You do have to do a little bit of trimming if you want to run the 305 or 315 tires on those, on the wide body kits, but that’s on a whole different level. You can call for information on that.

Tire Sizes

Again, with the standard body and we’re doing the tire sizing you could do 20×9.5 with the 275/40/20 inch all the way all the way around or you can do the staggered 20×9.5, 20×10.5 with the 275 and 315. People that are scared of the 315 in the back can go with the 305/35/20 also. It’s up to you what you want to run.

Wide bodies, you can go with the 315 all the way around. The car comes with the 305, but a lot of people like to put that 315 tire in there, to get a little bit more traction for you. So, the 20×9.5 and 20×10.5 will go on the standard body vehicles. They come with the offset of 15 up front and 22 in the rear. That’ll get you flush with the fenders, they’re not going to stick outside the fenders.

These also fit not only the Charger and Challengers, but 300 C’s, along with the older magnums too, so you can get that size in there. Now the wide bodies are 20×11’s. They have a -2.5 backspace. That’s two and a half inch, negative backspacing on the 20×11’s to fit for the wide bodies with those fat fenders on there.

All right, for more questions you can reach me at jason@factoryreproductions.com or the phone number below, any other salesman out here can help you out. Hello it’s Jason Factory Reproductions coming back to you this week with our FR 70s. Our FR 70 Hellcat replicas are made for multiple different vehicles. We’re talking the Mopar vehicles: the Chargers, Challengers, Magnums, 300c’s, along with the RAM trucks, Dodge Durangos and Jeeps.

Charger and Challenger Fitment

We make various sizes, whether you want to go staggered 20×9.5, 20×10.5 on the Charger/Challenger platforms, or if you want to do the Jeeps 20×9 all the way around, stagger them, up size to 20×10’s, downsize, you know 20×9’s all the way around on your SRT’s. It’s all up to you. Also, we make these for the Rams and five and six lugs, 20’s and 22’s and a couple different colors. For the Mopar LX platforms, we’re using the 20×9.5 and 20×10.5. The offset on the fronts are +15, which are really nice fitments.

It’s a little bit different than original equipment, it’s a little bit more aggressive, still fits beautifully. The rears are 20×10.5 with a +25mm offset. The best fitment tire size on those is a 275 in the front and 305/35/20 in the rear, just to give you a little bit extra clearance on the inner fender wall on the rear tires.

Finishes include Chrome, Gloss Black, Satin Black, this beautiful Bronze and Black Machine Face, which is a two-tone, gives you that, you know, dark pockets and with it still a nice shiny bright finish on the front.

Jeep and Durango Fitment

Now that brings us to the Jeep/Durango fitments. Those come 20×9’s all the way around on most of those Jeep/Durangos. Depends on actually what you have, you can do, you know, some of them have 18’s, but you could do 20×9’s all the way around on those vehicles, no problem, with the stock tires if they do have 20″ the 265/50/20’s. Those work beautifully.

You can even step up to a 275/50/20 and I’ve actually seen people go wild out there with 275/55/20’s to get you that meatier, taller stance. Just got to be careful on the wide turns on that one. In might rub, but they still look great and look real aggressive on the vehicles.

Also, you can do a 10 all the way around on most of those vehicles. You can go 20×10 and with the 20×10 you can do a 295/45/20 inch tire. Tens all the way around with either the 45 or the 50 offset, depending on which offset you put on there. Works beautifully on that vehicle no problem, turning radius no problem if you want to lower it, also.

So the Jeeps and Durangos are a great fit with that. Also, with the Jeeps and Durangos, you can put a 22 inch on there. Most of the time 22×9 it’s the best fitment on the Jeep Durangos. Some people like to push the 22×10’s. It’s getting a little aggressive on the Durangos with the tire selection out there, there’s not much. Jeeps are better fit with the 22×10. You could run a 285/40/22 inch tire all day long on that. It’s just up to you what you want to go with.

Now the finishes vary with the Jeeps and Durangos in the 20’s and 22’s. Definitely check out our website, factoryreproductions.com to make sure what’s available at this point in time.

Ram Trucks

Now this brings us to the RAM trucks. RAM trucks, from 2002 to 2018 came in a five lug, 5×5.5 – The newer Rams did come in a 6×5.5, affiliated like a Chevy bolt pattern or whatever, but they also still have the classic five bolt pattern too in those 18 to current vehicles at this point in time.

That being said, the tire sizing on these things, you can go 20 inch you can stay stock with the 275/55/20’s, which a lot of the older Rams did with the five lugs. The newer Rams went up to a little bit taller tire size at 275/60/20 with about 33″ overall height. It’s a little bit skinnier and narrow, so you can get that overall height, not as wide.

You could also go up to a 22 inch, we do a 22×10, so you can put a 305/40/22 inch tire on there. Some people put a 305/45/22 inch tire on there and people go crazy putting a 33/12.50/22 inch tire on there, to get that width there. You just got to do maybe a little bit of trimming on that. Depends on if you do a 2″ leveling kit up front or if you want to just keep it in stock and don’t care about it rubbing on a full u-turn not, a problem, you can go ahead and run that 33 by 12.50/22 inch tire.

Tire and Wheel Packages

So that wraps it up on our FR70’s fitments. Remember we also have a full line of tires, if you guys need a tire wheel package we mount and balance here. We’ll put the size you want, brand you want, tire pressure monitor sensors in there. You get these bad boys, good thing about the Mopar stuff, the sensors are automatically relearning. All you have to do is drive the vehicle for 10 minutes at over 40 miles an hour and the sensors relearn.

So we have a whole tire wheel program that we offer for these packages for the Mopar’s, with the you know, Challengers Chargers, Magnums, 300c’s, Jeeps, Durangos and Ram trucks. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach me at Jason@factoryreproductions.com or you can call up, phone number should be at the bottom. Call up any of our other salesmen who are more than happy to help. Thank you very much for watching! Make sure to follow or subscribe on all of our platforms.

America’s Sports Car – Ask any Corvette owner and they will tell you that they love the feeling of starting that engine and getting out onto the road. The ease of maneuvering, accompanied by incredible performance output and power, gives you a rush every time you are in the driver’s seat and makes you proud to be the owner of such an iconic vehicle. With the combination of performance and attractive design, the Corvette’s popularity is seemingly everlasting. The two-passenger, two-door, luxury sports car has endured many changes with every generation over the last 68 years and we are excited about the long-awaited release of the 2023 C8 Z06 Corvette. Before we get there though, let’s check out the timeline leading up to the anticipated C8.

C1- In 1953, Chevrolet introduced what has now become one of the true collectible cars of our time. The C1 Corvettes were produced featuring a 235 cu. in. (3.85L) inline six engine, with an output of 150 HP and a two-speed Powerglide transmission that got you 0-60 in 11.5 seconds. The C1 was constructed with a Polo White” fiberglass body, red interior, and a black canvas soft top and was predominantly hand built in a factory in Flint, Michigan. Only 300 were made and about 200 are still in existence around the world today. The C1 run lasted from 1953-1962.

C2 – The introduction of the “Stingray” was a game changer. Production occurred from 1963 until 1967. The first and only year in which a split window convertible would be offered was 1963 and it remains one of the most popular vehicles among collectors today.

C3 – The C3 remains a heavy collector’s item with its “shark” shape. Production began in 1968 and lasted until 1982.

Fun Fact: Just over 40 1983 Corvettes went into production; however, none were ever sold. The one and only Corvette from 1983 that remains, was retired and is now on display at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is listed as #23.

C4 – The largest production run for GM would be the C4 and would stretch from 1984-1996. Redesigned and more practical, the C4 was equipped with a glass hatchback for storage and an electric dashboard displaying RPM’s, speed and other engine functions.

C5 – Production of the C5 ran from 1997-2004. The C5 has a long-standing reputation for value, performance and low maintenance costs.

The SEMA Show –

Mid-year, the buzz starts to hum throughout the automotive industry in preparation for the big SEMA show in November. Planning and tons of hard work go into readying some of the most enticing rides you’ll ever see, all in one place – SEMA. For newcomers, you might be asking yourself what SEMA stands for and what it’s about. SEMA stands for Specialty Equipment Marketing Association. The organization was founded in 1963  and each year a trade-only event for the automotive industry is held each year in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event showcases and highlights the newest vehicle trends, reveals, products, tech and cutting-edge equipment for a week-long member-only experience.

Outside the convention center, hundreds of custom built vehicles and trucks are displayed, where onlookers can admire, photograph and chat about the process of the sponsored build with the vehicle owner. Inside each of the convention center’s four halls is a gathering of exhibitors ranging from industry giants such as Dodge, Chevrolet and Ford, to smaller businesses focusing on automotive products right alongside some of the top manufacturers and warehouse distributors in the industry.

SEMA is More Than Just a Car Show

SEMA offers a range of resources and entertainment available to all members and showgoers.  Participants can register for any of the 70+ SEMA education classes, attend various product demos, watch the Battle of the Builder’s competition, have a good time at SEMA Ignited (the after show entertainment), and enjoy the food, drink, and highly anticipated reveals.

After last year’s virtual show, the return of this year’s in-person SEMA show was a breath of fresh air.  The world took a hard hit this past year and half and we couldn’t have been more grateful to reconnect with old customers and meet new ones face to face. Factory Reproductions has been a long-time member of SEMA and we enjoy nothing more than being a part of the exciting automotive community. With our industry leading replica wheels on display at the show, we always look forward to meeting and catching up with business partners, distributors, auto enthusiasts and hobbyists.

Thank you for taking the time to check out our blog and thank you to those who stopped by the Factory Reproductions booth this year. It was a pleasure reconnecting! With that said, let the countdown to SEMA 2022 begin!

It all began in 1973.  The first ever International Race of Champions (IROC) was held at the Riverside International Raceway in Riverside California.  The best of best from IRL, NASCAR, World of Outlaws…met here to compete and show off their driving skills in the IROC Championship, all driving a universal competition vehicle, a Porsche Carerra RSR.  However, due to the high cost of running the Porsche, IROC changed to the Chevrolet Camaro for its 1975 season.  The Camaro was IROC’s car of choice through 1980 until IROC was temporarily discontinued.  Four years later, IROC was reinstated and they selected the new Camaro Z/28 as their competition vehicle.  Chevrolet however, decided to create a commemorative Camaro to celebrate the return of the IROC series and the IROC Z/28 was born.  It quickly hit the general market and a regular commuting driver could now select the IROC-Z option when they ordered the Z/28.

Over the Years

In 1985, the original IROC-Z featured top notch specs that were a not only performance driven but eye catching as well. It was considered to be a “Rookie of the Year” winner by numerous auto publications and was featured in Car and Drivers “Ten Best List” in 1985.  From 1986-1989, no drastic changes were made to the IROC-Z, but there were some modifications:  various engines were used, interiors were revamped, fuel injection was added, and wheel configurations were revised. The car came standard with a 15″ wheels, with the 16″ wheel as an option.   Unfortunately, 1989 would be the last year an IROC-Z was manufactured for its 1990 model.  When Dodge became the official sponsor of the IROC series in 1990, the production of the IROC-Z was terminated.

The Legacy

Initially referred to as the “Camaro that thinks it’s a Corvette”, the Iroc-Z has truly solidified its place in American history.  Although the IROC-Z’s last production was almost 30 years ago, the car still has a dedicated audience.  Few vehicles from the 1980s are as beloved as the Camaro IROC-Z.  Forums and message boards are devoted to this iconic vehicle which continues to create feelings of nostalgia for Generation X car enthusiasts.  Chevrolet might not be making them anymore, but you can still find the original IROC-Zs all over the country, including the classic 1985. In 2006, the International Race of Champions itself came to an end but it, and the legendary IROC-Z, sure had a good ride.

Today

Longing for a by-gone era, there is a resurgence of interest in the classic IROC-Z28. IROC Motorsports Inc, is currently transforming Chevrolet Camaros into the legendary muscle car, the IROC-Z.  In order for a Camaro to be classified as an IROC-Z28 it must be fitted with IROC-Z brand items for the hood, spoiler and wheels.  Today, in conjunction with IROC Motorsports Inc., Factory Reproductions is bringing the iconic IROC-Z wheels back to the marketplace.  The classic five-star design has returned with a modern twist, allowing Camaro enthusiasts the opportunity to transform their current vehicle into a stylized legend.

Wheel Specs

A blend of yesterday and today, the new IROC-Z Camaro wheels are created for Camaro enthusiasts by Camaro enthusiasts.  Factory Reproductions has taken the original IROC wheel and updated it with sleek lines and striking finishes.  This iconic five spoke rim fits perfectly on the fifth and sixth generation Camaros.  The wide dimension of this wheel allows for bigger tires, ultimately delivering remarkable performance and handling.

For years, car clubs have provided a way to gather car enthusiasts with a common passion for a certain type of vehicle. Whether a car club is local, national, international or even virtual, they provide members with the opportunity to connect, collaborate, share and participate in a community of individuals with a similar interest.

Benefits of a Car Club

1. Social connection

For a lot of individuals, nothing feels better than belonging to a group of people that share a common interest. Car Clubs draw people together and through shared experiences, friendships are formed and bonds are created. Some groups are so cohesive, they consider themselves a “brotherhood” while others have a goal of “turning friends into family”.

2. Recreational activities

Events like local car shows and “meet ups” are a huge part of the car club culture. These gatherings allow people to network with other members and make local connections. They also provide an opportunity for members to show off their cars and discuss the detailed modifications they have made to their vehicles. Additionally, having fun with their cars is one of the most important elements of car club membership. Beyond the shows and meet ups, members gather together for the sheer joy of a “group cruise”.

3. Shared knowledge

Car clubs can provide valuable information that can be shared amongst its members. The group can be a place where you can offer or receive advice or even hands on assistance. Helpful tips and creative ideas can be exchanged regarding modifications, repairs, performance improvement, purchasing parts and even which local garages and mechanics are the best. Many car clubs have a facebook group where numerous resources are available to their members. Now with virtual car clubs, it is even possible to share information and collaborate with individuals in other countries.

4. Community outreach

Many car clubs have extended their outreach beyond their members and into their communities. Some even have mission statements that incorporate service as a primary goal. These car clubs tend to focus on monetary service by funding local charities, or physical service by gathering and donating food and daily necessities to the many groups within their geographic locale. Giving back to the community provides club members the opportunity to make a huge difference in the lives of others.

Car Club Spotlight: Our Ambassador Matt Machia’s Car Club

If you have a particular passion for Mopar vehicles, search on-line and you can find many car clubs that are dedicated specifically to the preservation, restoration, modification, and enjoyment of cars from the Chrysler Corporation. One such club is that of our ambassador’s Matt Machia. Mopar Unlimited Car Club, based in Connecticut, is available for people throughout New England and the Tri-State area to get together and enjoy their passion for Mopar vehicles.

Mopar Unlimited Car Club cruising down the boulevard

With over 400 current members, the club originally formed when Matt and Frank saw the incredible passion in their community for Mopars. It was evident at local car shows that these types of vehicles, both classic and modern, were drawing people together. Matt and Frank submitted their club name and logos to the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) corporate attorneys asking for approval. After a four month wait, the Mopar Unlimited Car Club was officially launched with a facebook page and hand distributed club cards. Membership is free but In order to join, individuals must live in the Tri-state area and own a Mopar. You can find the club at local car shows, on their website https://Moparunlimitedct.com or through their facebook group page https://www.facebook.com/groups/MoparUnlimitedCarClub/ .

Socially, the Mopar Unlimited Car Club connects through car cruises, car shows, and meet-ups and continually strives to maintain a family friendly environment. They are currently putting together their 3rd annual Mopar Madness at the Mohegan Sun Casino where multiple car clubs come together to show off their vehicles. In addition, they are collaborating with FCA Corporate on another show that will occur later in the year.

Mopar Unlimited Car Club Meet-up

Not only a social group but an informational network as well, Mopar Unlimited members consistently turn to each other for recommendations and advice about their vehicles. When looking to make modifications or increase performance many post questions on the club’s facebook group page where fellow club members will offer solutions. Meet-ups and car shows are also used to swap information about successes and failures revolving around their beloved Mopars.

As Mopar Unlimited grows in size, so does its desire for community outreach. The club is currently planning to move to non-profit status in order to increase its capability for charitable donation and service to those in need. Matt says part of the mission of the car club is “to give back and support the community”.

Connecting socially, having fun, exchanging information, and supporting the local community are all components of Matt’s car club that can be found in hundreds of clubs across the country. If you have a passion for a particular type of vehicle and want to share it with others, joining a car club might just be what you need.
